Speaking Engagements

Deborah is an industry expert and advisor for law and other professional service firms. She has unique experience in developing best practices by working with the world’s most respected and demanding professionals, and shares her expertise in an interactive, thought-provoking speaking engagements.

Deborah’s speaking subjects include marketing and business development for law firms and for individual lawyers, strategic planning, rainmaking, and women in the law. In addition, she has organized international conferences and has served as a moderator and meeting chair. Her speaking fees for keynotes and in-person engagements are set based on the location, duration and level of customization each event requires.  Presentations are also available by video, which can be particularly helpful if your event is in Europe and Asia. Half of the speaking fee is required upon the date of contract signing and the other half, one-week prior to the event.  Travel fees, without markups, are charged after the event.

You’ll Receive

When you work with Deborah on a speech or keynote, included in her fee are the following.

  • up to two-hours’ worth of planning calls with the organizers of the event. (The more Deborah knows about an organization, the better able she will be at customising the talk, and helping you achieve your objectives.)
  • A 60 to 75-minute keynote presentation. (Deborah welcomes both keynote, workshops and fireside-chat interview styles.)
  • A discount on the bulk distribution of the book “Best Practices  in Law Firm Business Development and Marketing.” (PLI 2019)
  • A PDF including advanced reading or a customized take-away tip sheet or action plan, following the event.
